Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref SLP794 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for THE GLASSHOUSE HOTEL at SWAN POINT, SLIGO in CO. SLIGO with SWANRIVER LIMITED as licensee.[1]
The Sligo Champion, carried by Irish Independent, reported in 2018 that Noel Earley pleaded guilty at Sligo District Court to making off without paying a EUR3,926 bedroom bill after staying at the Glasshouse Hotel from March 24 to December 23, 2016, and that Judge Kevin Kilrane gave him the benefit of the Probation Act.[2]
