Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref TRP0144 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for THE FOUNTAIN BAR at 11 MAIN STREET, CASTLEISLAND in CO. KERRY with HELEN LEEN as licensee.[1]

In 2005, the Kerryman reported that Castleisland District Court heard garda evidence of people leaving “James Morrissey’s Fountain Bar” at 12.40am on August 30 (with ‘40 or 50’ people said to be in the bar after hours), and that Judge Finn fined Mr Morrissey.[2]

In 2023, the Kerryman reported an AGM photo caption describing it as taking place in “The Kingdom House / Fountain Bar” in Castleisland.[3]
