Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0787 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for THE ROCHESTOWN LODGE HOTEL at ROCHESTOWN AVENUE, DUN LAOGHAIRE in CO. DUBLIN with BLACKROCK INNS LIMITED as licensee.[1]

The Irish Times reported in 2001 that the Rochestown Lodge Hotel on Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, was to be redeveloped, with part of the site sold for housing and the existing hotel reduced and redesigned.[2]

The same report said the hotel had a collection of about 100 signed sporting jerseys, including rugby, GAA, soccer and American football examples.[2]

The Irish Independent reported in 2001 that the Rochestown Lodge Hotel was to reposition itself as a four-star hotel and retain 60 upgraded bedrooms.[3]

That Irish Independent report said the development was associated with the sale of around 1.4 acres beside the hotel for residential development.[3]
