Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N2783 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for THE OLD SCHOOLHOUSE at COOLBANAGHER, CHURCH ROAD, SWORDS in CO. DUBLIN with RIVERWOOD INVESTMENTS LIMITED as licensee.[1]

Irish Independent reported in 2004 that the proprietors of the Old Schoolhouse Restaurant on Well Road in Swords were seeking permission for a change of use from restaurant to public house and restaurant, and that the site was at the junction of Church Road and Well Road.[2] Irish Times reported in 2019 that a seven-year-old child received a EUR45,000 personal-injuries settlement after a door in The Old Schoolhouse Restaurant, Swords, closed on her hand; the child sued Riverside Investments, trading as The Old Schoolhouse, Swords.[3]
