Irish Times listed a 2003 decision to grant planning permission at Lucan Spa Hotel and Lucan County Bar for hotel alterations, a leisure facility with pool and gym, 46 new bedrooms, and works to Lucan County Bar, with The Colgan Group as applicant.[2] Irish Times listed a 2008 decision to grant Lucan Spa Hotel Ltd permission for a conference-centre and function-room extension, including function and meeting rooms, pre-function areas, a bar, kitchen, hotel-lounge alterations, parking, landscaping, and site works.[3]
