Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0320 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for FITZPATRICK CASTLE HOTEL at AND EXTNS, KILLINEY in CO. DUBLIN with KILLINEY HOTELS LIMITED as licensee.[1]

Irish Times reported in 2013 that the late Paddy Fitzpatrick opened the Castle Hotel in Killiney in 1971 and that Eithne Scott-Lennon had run it since 2002.[2] The same report described it as one of south Dublin's landmark hotels, with 115 bedrooms, two bars, two restaurants, function rooms, and a leisure centre with 1,500 members.[2] Irish Times reported in 2022 that the four-star Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Killiney returned to profit, and that Emdora Ltd operated the 113-bedroom hotel.[3] Irish Times reported in 2023 that John Fitzpatrick's sister Eithne Scott-Lennon ran Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, bought by their parents in 1977.[4]
