Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0293 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for CONWAYS at 3 MAIN STREET &, 2 GEORGE'S AVENUE, BLACKROCK in CO. DUBLIN with STEPHEN PILE as licensee.[1]

Irish Times reported in 2002 that Conways public house at 3 Main Street, Blackrock, was withdrawn at GBP2.5 million and was under negotiation through Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne.[2] Irish Independent reported in 2005 that Kilmuckridge businessman Sean Doyle had opened a pub formerly known as Conways in Blackrock, Co Dublin, with the Main Street premises divided between Mexican-themed bar Cactus and a more traditional Conways section.[3]
