An Bord Pleanála inspector's report ABP-312030-21 listed the appeal location as Annie May's Pub, Main Street, Newcastle, Co. Dublin, D22 XV65, for a proposed 24-metre telecommunications monopole and associated site works.[2] The report's planning history said South Dublin County Council granted permission in August 2018 for demolition of single-storey structures and an extension to the existing public house, Annie May's, including bar and dining facilities, kitchen, toilets, storage, rear garden, betting office, and ancillary site work.[2]
